Pink-a-Dot [♥] » Blog Archive » A spellbinding fruit of faith: Arrival in Malaysia

A lot of people say that wishes are nothing but mere illusions. Fatal as it may sound but what was stated is a fact. However, a genuine wish that is accompanied by faith is not anymore fictitious- it becomes a dream, then a goal and it is nonetheless a part of reality.

Huge infrastructures. Gleaming lights. Rich culture. Tasty delicacies. The Exotic beauty of Malaysia. These were all a product of my wishful imagination but I never thought that I would experience its enchanting splendor and grandeur – all at the same time. But Malaysia was not the very reason why I wanted to go there… it was this man who resides in that beautiful place. I longed to see him for my mother shared me tales about him – and all were of affinity and friendship.

Three years was not that long. Honestly, it was more than enough..

Tito jimmy fetched us from the airport and drove us to Genting Highlands. We conversed a little in the car since everyone was exhausted- but my mom was an exception ’cause she seemed like she was energized after seeing him. Tito Jimmy is such a charismatic gentleman (no wonder why my mom is truly, madly, deeply in love with him). I was totally delighted to see him for he was the core of my wish that originated three years ago In the midst of the trip, he decided to take us to eat our late super and early breakfast since it was already two in the morning. He ordered ho-ckkie-mee (my favorite~♥), kangkong bleacen (i wasn’t able to try this one thinking that I’ve eaten lots of kankong back in the Philippines), grilled fish and dehterik (ice cold tea). After eating we set off to our destination. Tito Jimmy told us that Genting was a little more like Baguio- ’cause it’s very cold out there. He already made a reservation at First World Plaza Hotel and that hotel was very near to the theme park. I can’t help myself from admiring the place and man, it was drastically freezing out there but still, it was overwhelmingly fantastic. And guess what, I met Uncle Windy in person. Cheers to that. He’s humorous, caring and ,as quoted from Ate Lainy “very, very naughty.”

(I’ll leave you guys hanging for the mean time.hahaha.. I’ll be sharing my memoirs in malaysia on my future articles..stay tuned :]  )
